Kerio Personal Firewall 2.1.5 (letzte Freeware-Version) ist ein kleines und einfach zu bedienendes System zum Schutz eines PCs vor Hackerangriffen und Datenlecks.

Die Firewall selbst läuft als Hintergrunddienst mit einem speziellen Low-Level-Treiber, der in den Systemkern geladen wird. Dieser Treiber wird auf der niedrigstmöglichen Ebene über den Netzwerk-Hardwaretreibern platziert. Dadurch hat es die absolute Kontrolle über alle durchlaufenden Pakete und ist in der Lage, einen vollständigen Schutz des Systems zu gewährleisten, auf dem es installiert ist.

Diese Version ist die letzte unter Windows 98 lauffähige Version.
